Responsibilities:
Directly supervise crews, training new employees, prioritizing safety and productivity, leading by example.
Monitors quality of workmanship, ensuring installations meet customer specifications and industry standards.
Supports leadership in ordering supplies and renting equipment as needed.
Communicate project plans and progress to crew, support staff, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
Safely use hand tools and operate equipment, adhering to OSHA & Company safety procedures.
Requirements:
Must have 3
years of underground fiber construction experience (reading prints, crew planning, conduit placement, fiber placement, manhole & handhole installation, fiber pulling, and conduit work).
Must have experience operating equipment (mini excavator, trencher, plow, directional drill).
Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid US driver's license, and pass a drug screen, background check, MVR check and DOT Physical.
Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position, which involves sitting, standing, bending, climbing, lifting, working at heights, in confined spaces, in all types of weather conditions, and in both rural and heavy traffic congested areas.
