The Spare Parts Coordinator will support the sales department with the handling of customer inquiries, processing RFQs/RFPs, submitting quotes, issuing job sheets, invoicing, and administrative duties.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:

Responsible for managing customer accounts with objectives to increase customer satisfaction, gross margin and sales.
Handles customer requests including quotes, orders, follow-up and delivery information.
Communicates customer requirements to Engineering and Manufacturing.
Works well in a team environment to solve customer issues.
Has a strong customer focus, able to listen carefully and identify customer requirements and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions.
Communicates issues and problems with management in a timely manner.
Understands the importance of getting details correct.
Maintains detailed documentation to support decision making and ensure continuity of service.
Elicits needed information for input into the company's spare parts database Performs research, evaluation and recommendations for proposed materials and/or material substitutions including supplier proposed material alternatives.
Prepares rationale/justification documentation needed for acceptance of alternatives Identifies and recommends improvements, enhancements, or potential modifications to the spare parts program Establishes and maintains the necessary interfaces and acts as point of contact with operations, engineering, quality, procurement, and other site personnel to ensure a timely and cost-effective effort.
Coordinates the requisition and related document approvals with subcontract technical representatives, end users, and other approvers as needed.
Provides information, coordination and/or guidance on critical spares, essential materials, stocking levels, lead time, process cycle and other items related to the spares program Establishes and maintains the necessary interfaces and acts as point of contact with operations, engineering, quality, procurement, and other site personnel to ensure a timely and cost-effective effort.
Coordinates the requisition and related document approvals with subcontract technical representatives, end users, cognizant quality and technical sources, and other approvers as needed.
Reviews established site stores/spares and/or Material Access Center (MAC) items for suitability with needs.
Coordinates the establishment, receipt, and storage of stores/spares items.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree preferred Experience in automotive and/or industrial markets highly desired.
Proficiency in MS Office (specifically Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook) and office equipment (printers, scanners, copiers, plotters) is required.
Knowledge of contracts / agreements, terms and conditions, licensing, and certifications is required.
Experience running a site office to include all administrative functions and support of site team.
Must be able to substantiate performance of job duties independently.
Working knowledge of accounting functions related to projects.
Knowledge of industrial suppliers in electrical and mechanical disciplines and familiarity with the equipment used in industrial projects highly desired.
Organization and attention to detail are highly critical in this role.
Work well in fast-paced, confidential, and deadline orientated environment.
Must be able to foster and support a teamwork environment, placing a high emphasis on excellent customer service.
