Macy''s Logistics and Operations are responsible for the supply chain functions of Macy''s, Inc. - transporting and distributing merchandise from our suppliers to the sales floor, and filling Omni-channel customer orders. Macy''s Logistics and Operations'' primary functions include Direct to Consumer, Transportation, Store Merchandise Distribution, Process Improvement/Six Sigma, Systems and Reporting, Furniture and Bedding Delivery, Finance, and Human Resources. In the Logistics and Direct to Consumer Military Executive Development Program, you will exposed to teams and projects in the critical and widely varied functional areas at Macy''s Logistics that collaborate to ensure the success of the central strategy.
The Military Executive Development Program at Macy''s Logistics provides challenging assignments and hands-on learning opportunities while exposing the new executives to senior leadership within the organization.
During the 10 week program you will receive a combination of experiences including exposure to senior leaders, Six Sigma methodology, and leadership workshops; all complemented by on-the-job and classroom training. Throughout this phase you'll prepare a project focusing on a real-world opportunity within your facility. You will research, analyze data, and during a final presentation to senior management at our headquarters you will recommend strategies that can be implemented to immediately impact the business.

What to bring to the program:
Bachelor's or Master's degree with a solid academic record, all majors welcomed
2-5 years of military leadership, either as a Junior Military Officer of degreed Noncommissioned Officer
Must be flexible following the program to relocate within Macy's Logistics
Results-driven, passionate and committed to excellence and high standards
Seeks to be the leader, want to be in a position of influence
Results-oriented with a strong sense of urgency
Demonstrates strong listening, written and oral communication skills
Communicates purposefully and takes charge of situations; excellent presentations/platform skills
Able to independently organize and prioritize and meet deadlines
Achieves results with little supervision
Location & Start Dates:
The Military Logistics Executive Development Program is based in Distribution and Fulfillment Centers across the organization.
The program begins each year in March and July

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
